"Shoot Me A Waco"

When we read that Waco, Texas had a Dr. Pepper Museum...we were sold!  We had such a good time at the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Georgia that we assumed, the soda with a P.H.D. would at least be on the same level, if not better.  We quickly realized that this was not the case, but enjoyed the half-hearted effort nonetheless.

We decided to wait in the Gift Shop for a bit when we first arrived, because two bus loads of kids had just emptied out into the Museum, which brought back strong memories of the Whales & Witches trip for Katie

We learned that Dr. Pepper was originally called a Waco in honor of the city it was invented in...
we also were given FREE slightly melted Waco Floats, since they made too many for the kids

There were a few questionable exhibits...the over the top, Free Enterprise Institute Floor
& Strom Watch, which highlighted a tornado that hit Waco, Texas
