Deep In The Heart Of Texas

It was almost like we went back in time during our lunch at the original Kincaid's Hamburgers this afternoon...customers wait in line to order in a 1950's style market and then dine communally on classic burgers and salty fries.  After lunch, we drove to downtown Ft. Worth...walked through Sundance Square, used and abused the downtown Hilton (we took advantage of their brand new Mac computers, internet, bathrooms & flavored water), stumbled upon the amazing Fort Worth Water Gardens and saw Michelangelo's earliest known painting, The Torment of Saint Anthony at the Kimbell Art Museum.
Inside Kincaid's Hamburgers
We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, grilled cheese & two orders of fries
Babbitt with the newly erected JFK Monument in General Worth Square
We were not expecting to see the 35th president again in Fort Worth, but we couldn't complain
The Fort Worth Water Gardens
There are a number of unique pools...each with a different look & feel
The O'Babbitt's inside one of the Fort Worth Water Gardens
This urban park in not only breathtaking, but also extremely relaxing
