Even though it was tough to say good-bye to Orlando, we decided not to push our luck another night...instead we wiped away our tears and made our way to Fort Pierce. We spent the day there looking for manatees before heading to Boca Raton, where we stayed in a Wal*Mart parking lot right next to very busy train tracks and took in a day of shopping at Babbitt's new favorite mall, Town Center at Boca Raton. Then it was off to Plantation to see our dear friends Jamie & her mom, amp; T Mama, where we ate great food, watched good movies & were introduced to our new favorite dessert...Radio Balls!

Original Fort Pierce art we found while bike riding We contemplated hitting up an all you can eat street festival (the more accurate word may be argued), but when it came down to it, Katie still couldn't get over her last All You Care To Eat experience |

The O'Babbitt's making their best "Baby Manatee Faces" Katie was NOT leaving Florida without seeing a manatee...although the waters were murky Fort Pierce & Babbitt's keen eye finally made her dreams come true |
