Southernmost Point Bar Crawl

When our alarm clock went off in the Sugarloaf Key...we couldn't have been more excited to get up and travel to Key West.  So, we packed our binoculars and a few brews and headed to the bus stop.  We quickly learned that buses in the Keys are not punctual, but we didn't mind and after a lengthy bus ride, we cracked some breakfast brews & made our way to Pepe's Cafe for delicious eats.  We then spent the rest of the day eating & drinking our way through Key West!

Apparently there is always a wait to get a table & it seems you have to be hung-over or drinking to dine there

We're not proud of getting sucked into this tourist trap

Babbitt was not happy about waiting in line for this picture...
so he insisted on taking a shot of vodka when we finally made it to the front

We loved this place & the food...we dined under a lush canopy with roosters
Thanks to Heather for the great recommendation

Even though we didn't have a drink here...we couldn't resist this photo opt

Legend has it that Ernest Hemmingway got his inspiration at this bar

  3. I've driven from Boca to Key West. Very scenic. Lots of mangroves. Cool drive.

I also was not impressed with the world's smallest bar. Keep the posts coming!
