Getting Our Monies Worth And More

After a full day at Blizzard Beach & Downtown Disney we decided to push our luck and stay the night in the Fort Wilderness Campground parking lot, where we had already parked the Rig all day.  This was a much-debated decision due to Babbitt's irrational fear of parking lot security.  He may have even told Katie there was a possibility of a lifetime ban from all Disney property, but after a nervous night in this dark corner of Disney we made it out with no security interactions.  The next day included an activity we will probably repeat throughout the trip...time-share presentations in exchange for free stuff.  We decided to start of easy with the Disney Vacation Club.  This was possibly the least pressure sale of all time and our charismatic salesman Bryan made it a painless process.  What had started out as a one and a half hour tour turned into four hours of annoying questions from Babbitt.  In the end we had a great experience and against anyone's better judgment even considered it for an hour or two.  We wrapped up the day taking the monorail around the Disney property one last time and snacking all the way from Downtown Disney to the Contemporary Hotel pool.

Not only did we have a great time learning about the DVC, which is now what we call it, but
we also got breakfast, beverages, $30 in Disney gift cards and ice cream in a fun parlor after the presentation

Sorry for the lack of photos...we were obviously much too concerned with
abusing the Disney transportation system, rather than taking photos
