Olympic National Park

Olympic National Park was unlike any other National Park we have been to so far.  At first we were very skeptical, but by the end of the day we were totally onboard.  We started with a short hike through the Hoh Rainforest, drove around Mount Olympus to access the rest of the park, were in the presence of vampires & werewolves for a few brief moments, were disgusted by the Sol Duc Hot Springs & saw the most impressive 360 degree view of all time!

Our friend Don from the train may have over sold us on this rainforest...Katie was expecting to
see cartoon characters from the 1992 movie Fern Gully, but instead we saw 100 different types of moss

Flat Hank in the city of Forks, WA
For those of you Non-TwiHearts out there, Forks is the town that the Twlight Saga takes place in
Babbitt refused to go on a Twilight Tour of Forks, but Katie's pretty sure she saw Edward
driving fast past us & a half naked Jacob running through the woods
Lake Crescent's clear blue water
This turn out is when we made the terrible decision to check out the hot springs
There are no photos, because we didn't stay...the sulfur smelled & the pools were definitely over capacity
Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park
The drive straight up hill was daunting, but after being encircled by these incredible
mountains we would have hiked by foot to see them if we had to

Our drive through Olympic National Park ended here, where we made it just in time for the sunset
