Our hangovers could not hold us back from spending another fun filled day in Victoria, BC! So, we relaxed in the hotel until we were kicked out. Then planned the rest of our day mostly around eating & the last ferry back at 7:30 p.m.

Our first stop: SkinnyTato Polish Restaurant Even with Katie's Polish lineage, we were not 100% sold on trying this cuisine, luckily the Food Network Canada television show, You Gotta Eat Here convinced us otherwise & the Sauerkraut And Mushroom Potato Pancake Meal with Nature's Gift & European Potato Salad ended up being a happy surprise |
Babbitt diving into Poutine on the Inner Harbour steps It didn't take long before we were hungry again & Babbitt couldn't resist Poutine, which is a common Canadian dish made with french fries, topped with brown gravy & cheese curds |
Victoria, BC Parliament After the many U.S. state capitol tours we've been on, we thought it was only right to educated ourselves on the BC Government...we are sad to report that the Canadian tour blew the US tours out of the water |
The O'Babbitt's on the Parliament grounds in the Rose Garden |
Katie with reenactor Nellie Cashman after the tour of Parliament The tour was very thorough & included a number of reenactors, who were very entertaining |
Miniature World Although we were extremely intrigued we decided to save our Canadian dollars & just view the tiny displays from outside the exhibit...we also did this at the Royal BC Museum |
The O'Babbitt's on the ferry back to the States We learned the hard way on the trip to Canada that you have to board early in order to get a table, so we made sure not to make the same mistake twice on our way back |
The Port of Port Angeles After a few games of Uno & attempted whale watching....we were glad to find The Rig safe & sound Thanks to the Leckrone's for the Uno Card Game it really made the time fly |
