Rocky Mountian High

We packed up The Rig & the little dignity we had left on our second day at Rocky Mountain National Park & moved to the Moraine Campground.  To be honest the sheer massiveness of the Rockies were quite intimidating, so we decided to take a shuttle to Bear Lake & hike closer to our campground later in the day.  All of this hiking really took it out of us & although it wouldn't have taken much in this altitude, our boozing ceased!
The Rocky Mountains
There wasn't a bad view in the park
The O'Babbitt's at Bear Lake
There was a bit of road construction that the shuttle had to navigate on the way here
& the snow gave us some trouble while hiking, but all in all it was beautiful
View on our hike up to Fern Falls
There is some speculation if we actually made it to the falls, but we're pretty sure we did
The Rig at Moraine Campground
We enjoyed a delicious dinner of pasta with fire roasted tomatoes & day old
Jimmy John's garlic bread here before falling fast asleep
