After saying good-bye to the Walker's we decided to head to Clearwater Beach to watch the sunset on Pier 60. As we were driving Katie got a text letting her know that she left her purse back at the condo (thank God for Chloe)! Sadly, it is actually extremely impressive that this is the first item Katie has forgotten so far...we are sure there will be more lost items to come. So we drove back, but unfortunately the security guard was not happy to see the O'Babbitt's or our Rig back so soon (apparently RV's are not allowed to park at the Grand Bellagio on her watch and we heard about it as we were leaving the first time.) So after a heated debate Babbitt ended up dropping Katie off to start the 40-minute walk to the condo. While walking a very nice landscaper offered to give Katie a free golf cart ride to the condo, which was perfect...he even waited to drive her back to the front of the neighborhood and assured her that he had heard stories about that guard before. We then waved good-bye to the Walker's one more time and were on our way to catch a sunset!

We've been asking A LOT of people to take our photo lately, but this guy was the BEST and asked if he could get in the picture with us! |

Our new friend, who took the photo above, liked our camera so much that she couldn't help herself from also taking this bird picture right after our photo shoot! |
Katie's big head watching the sunset Trying to maintain the curly hair in humid Florida has been a real challenge and we haven't found the right combination yet...we'll keep you posted |
It wasn't the warmest evening, but with views like this, who can complain? |
The O'Babbitt's in front of Hogan's Beach Shop After dinner at the Palm Pavilion we couldn't resist taking this photo |
