We've learned that some parts of the country have nothing but National Parks & beautiful landscapes to take in. Montana & Wyoming are two states that couldn't fit more perfectly into that category! So, we gave in & made our way to yet another National Park. Basically, once you have driven to Yellowstone it is pretty much impossible to skip the Grand Teton National Park! A 7-mile road connects the two parks, plus your admission price already includes both. So, we "stealth parked" for the night in a lot right next to one of the campgrounds & woke up the next morning to mountains that looked like they had been hand painted.

Road through the Grand Teton National Park Katie asked Babbitt to pull over so she could get some photos, but the pictures taken while the Rig was in motion turned out better for some reason???? |

Grand Teton - This is the highest mountain in the park |
Yep, you guessed it more mountains... |
Jenny Lake from the trail to Hidden Falls We asked a male ranger with a very impressive ponytail for his opinion on the best trails & he ended up sending us to the busiest trail in the park...he also asked us 5 times where we camped the night before...pretty sure he somehow sensed that we didn't pay to camp |
The O'Babbitt's at Hidden Falls The hike here was about 2.5 miles & it saved us $24...the park hired an outside company to transport park visitors by boat across Jenny Lake for a total of 4 minutes, while charging $12 per person We refused to support that kind of robbery on the high seas...it's the principle of the matter! |
View from the trail to Inspiration Point Inspiration Point wasn't very far from Hidden Falls, but Katie still had to talk Babbitt into going the rest of the way there...we're pretty sure he was craving food from a restaurant & needed to get out of fresh air |
Babbitt along the extremely rugged trail - The rockiest we've seen so far The hike wasn't nearly as crowded on the way back...the retirees that were shoving their way past us just to slow down again must have paid the extra bucks to take the boat |
